Deputy General Manager

This is a development role reporting to the Site General Manager.

The ideal candidate will be capable of promotion to a General Manager position within 6 – 12 months and will be sufficiently mobile to take up an appointment at a small site.

Whilst responsible for your own department you will take the additional responsibility to support a number of operating departments. Working with the manager you will ensure the achievement of operational standards and brand compliance as well as delivering budgeted profit.

To be successful in this role, you will have managed high volume units, in both retail and
catering, responsible for managing all cost lines. In addition, you will have a proven track
record of success in delivering outstanding operational results, preferably in a branded
environment.

As Deputy General Manager you will be provided with a structured Personal Induction Programme, for which they are personally responsible for ensuring development targets are achieved.

In the absence of the General Manager, the Deputy General Manager will take full responsibility for the site. To support their development and to extend their range of experiences Deputy General Managers will also from time to time cover for General Managers at other sites for periods of holiday and other absences.
