Agatha

I work at Moto Lancaster, initially joining the team when the site was known as “Top Rank” and it was quite a different place. I started working part time at the weekend in the Restaurant.  During the week I worked in a very different environment, making shoes in a factory. The work at Lancaster was ideal to give me a little extra income for the extras. I really enjoyed my weekends, so much so that when the factory closed and relocated overseas I asked if I could move to full time and I have been here ever since.

Over the last 18 years I have seen some changes. I have done most jobs available in the restaurant working as a cashier, clearing tables, working in the wash up and cold food preparation. Over the years I have found that the element of work I enjoy most, and I seem to have a flair for, is for preparing and serving hot food and most of all dealing with the customers. We work shifts and I have worked them all, but whichever the shift, the hours allow me to fit other things around my work.

I really love the variety Moto gives me and working with the customers. I enjoy it best when it is busy and I really like the fact that two days are never the same. Customers enjoy the range and the quality of the food and I get great pleasure in serving them.

I can honestly say that I have never had a bad day; I really enjoy working for Moto, and enjoy working at Lancaster. I believe that the company are good to work for, they are fair, pay well and the benefits are good. 

I have been very content in my work here at Moto over the last 18 years, and look forward to many more to come.
